Pencil Pot Of The Month – August 2017

Description: A cup as sent out by Pelikan for the Pelikan Hubs 2017

Price: Pelikan didn’t charge for them. Unknown what Pelikan paid

Material: paper

Further information: Pelikan sent these to Hub Masters for the upcoming Pelikan Hubs that take place all over the world on 22th September 2017, at 18:30 local time.

The pencils in this cup are from a soon to be published blog post about ‘baseball pencils’. The fountain pen in this cup is a Pelikan Go, an affordable piston filler that was targeted at school children.

Here’s a little unboxing video of the goodies Pelikan sent.

Pencil Pot Of The Month – June 2017

Description: Officially a toothbrush holder this item makes a great pencil pot, too.

Price: £2.50 in the UK. €2.99 in Germany$4.99 in the USA.

Material: A stoneware container with a rubberised surface. I bought the turquoise version.

Further information: IKEA’s Ekoln toothbrush holder has a rubberised surface. Sometimes these surfaces can turn nastily sticky over the years. I hope IKEA did a better job than many other companies, but only time will tell. The $4.99 version from IKEA USA is available in different colours.

Prices: June 2017

Pencil Pot Of The Month – May 2017

Description: A plastic container, used to hold pencils, in this case the famous four Fs

Price: not sure

Material: Plastic

Further information: Our twentieth pencil pot of the month is a plastic container that used to be the lid of a fitness band packaging. It is being used upside down, i.e. with the opening at the top. You can see that the writing on the back is upside down.
